I'm just curious why you cut out triangular holes when the buttons require circular holes to mount them?

The buttons are "low profile" so you can use round holes if you want to have the buttons stick out about a half an inch more but they are designed to be recessed but they require triangle/rectangel cutouts

First batch of upgrades has hit -

For some reason ocassionally the volume knob wouldn't be recognized on bootup, but I could unplug and replug the USB cable and it would work fine.  I tinkered around with software a bit but couldn't figure it out (especially since it wouldn't happen every time).  So I had an extra USB extension and a switch lying around so I made myself a USB on/off switch by just switching the ground.   Works like a champ - if it doesn't work I just turn it off for a few seconds and then back on.


Second thing was I discovered the wonders of Real VNC.  Its a great small "Virtual Network Computing" program that allows you to control a PC over a network/the internet/whatever, and best of all its FREE!
It makes adding albums in VMJ much much easier.

I looked and there is a companion equalizer available cheap fot the realistic amp so I went ahead and bought one on ebay (>30 shipped).  So what i'm going to do is go back into volume and crank up the bass for VMJ so it is about equal to xm and then cut the bass out  with the EQ so everything is equal.

I was wondering if you could tell me what the model of the companion equalizer is/was. I have a Realistic SA-150 as well and am looking for a suitable equalizer.

Unfortunately I don't remember - I've since upgraded to a slightly more powerful amp that was a similar size and sold the old ones on ebay sorry.
