Use a pair of needle nose pliers or, if you have enough room, vice grips, to hold the bolt still.

Nope. Tried it on one and DESTROYED the bolt head.

Well, I've Dremeled off bolts before and gotten replacements from the hardware store. Do what you need to do.

.Yikes!  What about solvents? Anything that would destroy the locktite, but not damage the plastic joystick risers?

Wow. Well, I haven't had that issue specifically (I've torn down a Vs Panel). Wish I could help!
