So you can buy this from eneba, throw a coupon on the purchase, and own it digitally on Xbox/PC for $4.15.  You have to redeem through a proxy in Argentina but I figured it out on my 5 year old iPad.

Iíve currently peg legged it on PC, gotten it via game pass for 4 months for a dollar, bought it for $4.15, and preordered it for $11 for Switch.  Switch version comes with a pizza coupon.  Pics will be posted here when I get my pizza.

kinda shocked you havent found a way to make them pay you to take stuff.  I still love you for my $99 smoker.

Got this "as is" machine that I got working great now except every time I make a selection is puts the wrong selection on.
The selector is pushing on the wrong pin.The magazine stops at the pushed pin,but the mech is pushing out the wrong pin.
So if I select b1,someother pin gets pushed and that selection is made
I know it must be a simple adjustment ,but the info in the manuel doesn't seem to give enough info.
Thank you

Hi Substring,

Question:
If i change my graphics card in groovyarcade 2022 from hd5450 to an R9 270x, do i need to re-install for this change in hardware to take effect?

PS: I do own an astro city as well, and i have the same issue of overscan there, meaning i had to scale for one of the biggest overscan game ( R-type) to make all the games fit the screen more or less. That also means R-type is the only full screen game, the rest has some black bars top and bottom. You could also choose the opposite approach and scale overscan for some resolution "in between" but in the end you never get all horizontal games full screen due to this unless you manually change the vertical and horizontal pots on your arcade screen (like i can do but dont do on my astro) and like i do in geometry-menu on my TV.

I do realize that this seems to be the trade-off we got to live with, i was just wondering how the rest of us are handling this

Big eternal kudos to you and all who contribute to this! this distro really is a gamechanger! :applaud:

When you install emudrivers, one important step is to add yuor settings to mame. That way youll add your monitor setting to it. so you need to setup groovymame by itself, but cfg and ini files for games can remain.

Okay so basically if I replace all of my current MAME directory with the GroovyMAME stuff, replacing existing files, then install the CRT emudrivers, then go back to GroovyMAME and add my monitor settings to it, everything should be good to go?
yes
Great thanks for the help!  I will hopefully get to all this this weekend and post if I get stuck.

I know, there are other solutions around, but to keep it really simple I just updated the original batch file from 2016.

It now works with a 0.244 romset as well.

I'm very noob to .bat files, how do i get this to work with my .244 merged set?

I placed this in my mame 0.244 merged set and renamed the .txt to .bat and double clicked, but nothing happed but made empty folders. with the original file that is what i did and it worked.

any help is much appreciated. thank you
I don't use these lists, but I tested the bat file and it seemed to work for me - it created one folder two levels up, with a name similar to the parent folder, except with _NoFiller appended to the name. In this folder, it placed copies of the few test files I had in my test roms folder. This is a very basic question, but do your roms maybe have a 7z extension instead of a zip extension? If so, replace all .zip with .7z in the batch file. Also, the batch file did not work when I tested it with a space in the name of my folders.  In this case, the folder with _NoFiller appended to the name was created in the same directory where the roms are, and was empty. If you have a space in your folder names, remove it for the batch file to work.

If neither of those ideas help, run the batch file from the command line instead of double-clicking (so the output doesn't disappear when the it finishes executing) and let us know some sample error messages.

Also, how do I found out what the different versions are for vendetta2 (vendetta2pd.zip, vendetta2peba.zip, vendetta2pp.zip, vendetta2pu.zip, vendetta2pun.zip, and vendetta2pw.zip)?

You can see the different versions here:
