Many people have been able to use the Wiimote with a PC. I was wondering, can the opposite be done? That is, could I use the PC to "interpret" commands from my cabinets Joysticks and buttons, and then send the commands to the Wii via Bluetooth (the PC pretending to be a Wiimote or two)?
The way I imagine it, a person would run software and load a profile for the game they're playing. Leave the PC on, and switch the video to the Wii. Load the game, and play away on real arcade controls!
Primarily, I see this for playing Megaman 9 and 10, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and Super Smash Brawl (SSB I imagine would play OK on Digital sticks, despite using analog sticks on normal controllers).
I didn't find anything about this in my searches, so let me know if someone did this already.
I'd program this myself, but I don't have much knowledge of Bluetooth stacks and such, or PC controller inputs, or any of that stuff.
