Video Rolling in XBMC with J-Pac
« on: January 27, 2010, 04:30:39 pm »
...finally found a minute today to try out my J-Pac (only had it for getting on a year! ::)) Anyway... finally 'kind of' got it set up... however, I'm using a modded Xbox and XBMC is the only thing that is causing me problems... the video rolls on it... everything else is okay... splash screen is fine... anything else I run is fine (i.e. emulators), it's just XBMC that isn't fine. So I'm guessing it's not syncing. I've tried setting the original dash to Pal-60 - nothing changed... I've tried changing XBMC's resolution to Pal 4:3 - nothing changed - I can't figure out what else to try... any suggestions!?

The spash screen on the Xbox is always 480i, as are a lot of games by default unless the MS Dash is set to a non 480i resolution.  However XBMC can internally be set to go to 480p, 720p or 1080i.  Maybe that's been set?

Figured out - set the system to NTSC using Enigmah Video Selector... as soon as I did that, it worked beautifully! ;D
