Help with Aimtrak

Okay, I originally tested the aimtrak on my pc, and it took some playing aroudn with the calibration application to get the buttons working properly, but I finally got it working. Originally, I could move the gun around and the crosshair would move, but when I pulled the trigger it would shoot where my mouse was pointed and not the gun. After playing around with all the settings for awhile, I got it working. Now I tried to set it up on my arcade, and once I plug in the gun, all my other buttons on my control panel stop working. Nothing works. I'm also having the problem again of moving the gun around and hearing it go off when I pull the trigger, but it's aiming with the other crosshair. Once I pull the gun out of the usb, all my control panel buttons work again. What's going on, has anybody seen this? I tried checking off multiple keyboard, multiple mice, and played with all the settings, but nothing will allow me to have the gun plugged in and let me use my control panel buttons at the same time.

Edit: I just tried to play Police Trainer. Before I start the game, the gun crosshair moves on the screen when I move the gun. Once I start the game, the crosshair disappears and nothing works, not even the trigger. Everything worked fine when I had it setup on my desktop. Now that I have my control panel plugged it, is there something I have to change to get it all working? I am about to go back and read all the Aimtrak settings again on their site. What do I have to change in the game settings to make the aimtrak work? In mame I tried making the lightgun to a lightgun, to a keyboard, and to a mouse. Nothing's working properly. What should it be?
