Roller gives a nice finish get the detail rollers the smaller ones and you should be able to get a really nice high gloss finish.

Personally I prefer a matte finish on my cab and am in the process of just spraying it, fast and easy witha  pretty good finish, but then I am a lazy bastard!

Yep I just striped off the old paint on mine, sanded and repainted with semi gloss bought at home depot. I used one of the fine foam rollers. Total cost for paint and rollers - $30.

Some polyurethane will make it indestructible, but it's hard to get it in a flat finish. I found my flat black scuffed way to easily, so I put a coat of poly on the CP and kickplate. If you're rolling your paint its easy to roll on an extra cote of latex poly, and it will last a lot longer.

Flat looks best, but the higher the sceen, the more durable it is.
