Dynamo CP gauge
« on: January 09, 2010, 12:02:03 am »
Can anyone help me figure this out?

What is the gauge metal used for the CPs on Dynamo "Z" back cabinets? Well, generally any ol' metal CP, but I'm using the Dynamo cab as a reference since it's the only one with a metal CP.

I measured out, as best I could with my measuring tape, 1/16". According to this chart it's somewhere between 15 and 16 gauge.  ???

If I assume 16 gauge, here's the pop question, if the original CP is 16g steel what gauge aluminum do I use to get the equivalent strength?

Did you ever get the measurement you needed?

I got one and some calipers laying around here if you still need it.
