Lock sizes
« on: January 06, 2010, 06:39:06 pm »
I want to use arcade locks to secure several doors on my cab and my jukebox (both yet to be built - I like the idea of them all having like keys).  The wood panels they will be used in will be both 5/8" and 1/2".  Can I get away with using the 7/8" locks, or would I be better off going with the 1 1/8" locks?  Where are the 7/8" and 1 1/8" lengths measured to and from, and are they adjustable (ie do they really mean "any depth up to 7/8 or 1 1/8")?

I'm talking about these kinds of locks.

Thanks
