Christian, very nice product.  Doubt I'll buy that new cab that everyone's making a fuss about, but this stick is on the list to buy if I ever get around to building the second cab I have plans for . . .

keep up the good work,

Very nice, those would compliment a black color scheme quite nicely~!

Oh yes, the standard question... Are they 1/4" Longer to compensate for 3/4 Panels?

Is this a "universal" replacement?  Or is there a hande for each different joystick base like your other SS handle?

Nice!  I've got a question for you.  Would you be willing to anodize or plate these handles for an additional price?  I've always thought a gold plated joystick would be cool. :)

Will those fit old Wico leaf bases? Or only sticks from Craps, I mean Happs?

My thought excactly...they look to be perfect match to a wico leafswitch base...I really hate microswitches in early 80's games...

Gold plate isn't very durable. It may not last very long. Ever buy cheap gold jewelry or a watch? It doesn't take very long before the stuff wears off. Unless there's a more durable gold plate now?

heh you guys need the bling bling, eh?  :o

my question...can we get a version with a hole in the skinny end to fit on our keychains?  That looks like one hell of a defense weapon (yeah...defense...that's it..defense...).

Actually that would be a cool present to someone if it could be engraved on the top...

And just what would a person do with a metal shaft with a big ball on the end? Nm, I don't want to know!  ;)

Better question, what would the engraving say? heh

ewww... I wasn't even thinking that... :P

These new metal products just remind me of that store in malls like "Things to Remember" or something where they engrave everything.

If it can't crush an ice cube as well as an SS then I'm not interested.

Well egg is too easy. How about nuts? Start with easy (peanut) and work your way up through pecans, walnuts, and almonds.

Yeah, if SlikStik can't sell them here they can always start an infomercial on the food network.

Those are some seriously cool looking sticks!  I think that would look great on the 4way for my cab STILL being planned (god, I just want to start it already)

I definitely am curious if it is longer to accomodate a 3/4" CP though like someone previously mentioned.

Actually........... That reminds me of a trick to play on your friends.... Hot metal looks the same as cold metal (within reason, we want them to keep the skin of their hands!) Keep a little butane torch around your cab. When they're not looking heat up their joystick handle!

I used to work in a robotic weld shop. You'd have a big pile of freshly welded parts that you'd have to go through and check. You'd give them a few minutes to cool so they would be ok to touch. Somebody would always throw a freshly welded one into the pile! .......Just to make sure you're awake! hehe

I have recently had some expierience with this... a flash Zinc coating before the gold plating would help a whole lot. I have a friend who does this stuff... it winds up being pretty cheap.

For heating up your joysticks in the winter... how about...

hooking player two up to an old water heating elements (the ones you drop in water)... Then hook that up to a special button on the side of the cabinet...

When your best friend comes over and starts beating you at SFA3..  And theres no excuse for others beating you on your own game... thats just rude!...  You press the button... Their Joystick starts getting hot... real fast... And they jump back saying holy !@# or something... And you jump in, do a super upper cut and SAVE THE DAY!

Or you could just electricute them!

Same thing...

booby trapping your cabinet is really the safe way to win at all your parties!

Another option would be titanium nitride. That's the deep gold plating you see on machine tools, so wear shouldn't be an issue.

that sounds like sooo much fun...   Just hope you don't end up on Player 2!

I think it'd be more fun to have a motorized, sinking joystick.   press the button, their joystick shoots down through the panel and a trapdoor closes over it like it was never there in the first place!

that, and you can joke about finding the right button to press to make the joy stick come up again.    :D
