Shaft replacements for Omnistik / Suzo 500
« on: January 02, 2010, 04:16:14 am »
Some years ago Groovygamegear sold ball-top shaft replacements for the Suzo 500 stick, aka Omnistik. Now they seem to be out of stock. I'm emailed without any answer. I'd be interested in several shafts, with black textured ball tops (for better grip). Any idea where I could get them?

If you have access to a lathe:

I hear you. All measurements are in millimeters, if you print it out and take it to someone with a metal shop, I'm sure you could get one made. I wish someone would just start offering a service like this for us. Or if one of the SUZO 500 seller could just start selling shafts like these, that would be even better.

You could try Franco B on this board. He's made custom shafts for people in the past. Actually I wouldn't mind a couple for myself. The Suzo 500s are excellent joysticks. It's just a shame the standard handles look so damned ugly.
