Game and monitor question
« on: December 31, 2009, 02:05:43 pm »
I am more into MAME and cabinets and am by no means very knowledgable with arcade machines.  I helped a friend put swap an Arkanoid board into another cabinet.  The board and machine work fine except for one problem.  The game is showing upside down on the monitor.  The cabinet the board came from played Arkanoid in the correct orientation, and the cabinet the board went into played the prior game in the correct orientation as well.

Is there anything on the monitor or board that can be causing this??  We are trying to possibly solve this issue without having to flip the monitor.  Any help is appreciated.

Not sure but there may be settings for this in the service menu.

Check to see if the game pcb itself has dip switch settings or menu settings to flip the screen.

If not, then flip the yoke connector - http://www.therealbobroberts.net/yoke.html
