Get a little LCD monitor / TV... Maybe one of those low voltage multimedia motherboards with the TV out that seem decent... And you might need to change a pot or too...

What am I supposed to be seeing? I don't see anything that may be converted. Maybe their menu selection has changed.

11 buttons?  3-way gear shift?  steering wheel with moving LCD display?  for ages 2 - 6?

Man, when I was a kid, we found circular rocks and sat on a fallen log turning the rock in the air like a steering wheel, and made the engine sounds ourselves.  If we were lucky, we had a cardboard box to sit in!  And we were happy with it!
