MiniPAC and Wiring Harness connector problems
« on: December 28, 2009, 11:11:59 am »
Hi all,

I recently got a miniPAC, wiring harness and controls from 'Gremlin Solutions'. However i cant seem to connect the wiring harness to the miniPAC and im afraid to force it incase i do damage. Also, im finding it really hard to remove the microswitch connectors once i have connected them, is there some trick to removing them i dont know?

Thanks!

Don

Hi,
I am currently in the process of re-wiring my mini ipac so might be able to help you.
The harness should connect with a slight push on.
There is only one way it will go and you should be able to tell from one end as one of the pins is sealed.
As for taking the connectors off the microswitches , they are a bit of a pain to get off.
I had to use a small pliers to get some of mine off.
I am having a problem getting my wiring to work but reckon its just a loose wire on the ground harness.
I am kind of sorry I didnt go for the normal ipac wiring as the harness can be a bit restrictive spacing wise.
Hope this helps.
