Wico Leaf Switch Contacts
« on: December 26, 2009, 04:07:06 pm »
Hi,

I have some Wico joysticks that are around 12 years old.  The contacts are not great and don't work 20% of the time on some of them.  What is the proper way to revitalize the contacts.  They appear to have a black coating on the contacts.  I remember I used to use sand paper, but that makes it worse (only lasts a short while), at least that is what I remember from a Tempest game I used to own.  I didn't want to make that mistake again.

I was hoping not to have to replace with micro switch style joysticks.

Any help appreciated.
