Resource for Non optical USB Mice
« on: July 22, 2003, 01:18:13 pm »
Anyone know where I can buy some Non Optical USB Mice? Yeah, the ones with the roller ball.  ;D  I have to hack 1 up for my Rotary Sticks and my spinners.

I know Oscar sells them and I will buy one if I have too, but I want to do it my self. i think stuff like that is fun. (no offence oscar  ;D)

They're getting hard to find!  My local Staples had "E-Mail Mice" on clearance for $4.50 each.  It hacked into a trackball interface quite nicely.

Your best bet is going to be small stores that have OEM stuff.

Online, Directron has some for 99 cents, but they have a $10 minimum order.  See http://www.directron.com/usbmouse2.html for the 99 cent USB mouse.
