mortal kombat 4 help
« on: December 19, 2009, 03:06:51 pm »
i have a mortal kombat 4 rev 1 and i took it out to dump the roms.  when i connected back all the roms and switched it on on the mk4 cabinet, it said that rom u10 is bad.  i have the cp of from the mk4 since i am restoring it, so i have no buttons.

i plugged the ocb on my mk2 cabinet.. when i switched it on, i was hering same strange noises, low low frequences sounds and there was no picture.

when i connected it back to the mk4 cabinet, nohing came up, not even the part where it checks the roms.

i tried another board on the mk2 cabinet and it worked.  i do not know why the mk4 did not work on the mk2 cabinet.  it seems that i have lost my revesion 1.0 of mk4 :(

can someone help me fix it?

Are all of the roms inserted the correct way?

Are the sockets in good shape?

Did any pins miss the socket(look closely)?

every thing seems to be in place.

the major problem is, that after i conected it to another cabinet.. dedicated mk2.. the pcb now wont even start...  the led's switch on but nothing happens
