Ultrastik 360 restrictor gate mod questions? How are you mounting it?

I am wondering for those who also own the Ultrastik 360 and using an restrictor gate but not the one directly through Ultimarc.com how are you mounting it?? I seen one member here who has done it but there are no steps. Also there may be another member here with a even better ideal. I like the Joystick the way it is but it is hard playing some games without knowing where the point are. Example is Pac-Man. I'm trying to get use to not using a restrictor but it may be better. My main purpose for buying the joystick is that it's programmable and quiet. My stick is mainly for MAME and I'm trying to make the best of the joystick. Thanks for any help you can provide.
