Help with cab measurements
« on: July 21, 2003, 09:36:21 am »
Planning/gathering for cab #2 is coming along. As you can see if you scroll down the top half of the cab is a bit high.

I can't seem to find a good reference for average cab heights. What I need is a good average height for the CP, the average angle of CP and and average overall height of a full cab. I mad it that tall beacause I was worried about taller folks like myself staring at a marquee instead of the screen but it looks excessive now.

help?

I remember walking through a local arcade & noticing most of the cabs were right at (or pretty close to) 6 foot tall (actually about 6'-2 ish) to the top of the marquee... most of the CPs seemed to be angled down around 5
I'm not a freak!...
Oh wait...
Yes I am...

actually it's just a 19" I'm begging the friend I'm building this for to let me scale the CP down a bit and take off the wraparound on it.

The only thing is with a standard 2 player CP no 2 player karate champ (the best drunken video game out there in my  opinion).
