Picking a theme?
« on: November 25, 2009, 11:41:21 am »
My planning is coming along well. I've picked out controls I like, I've got a cabinet plan works, I'm even in the process of securing a nice screen.

My big problem is figuring out how I'm going to make this thing look. I've got no clue. I want it to look cool, and not Just Another Mame Cabinet, but I can't think of anything! Help!

Go with the style of games you like and then build around that. There are some artists advertising their services on the artwork section which can help you out with designs as well.

One of them is working on a capcom theme for me at the moment and the early sketches looks excellent.
