FS: Namco CyberLead Candy Cab (Elkton,Md 21921) <--SOLD!!!
« on: November 11, 2009, 06:43:32 pm »
bought this from sarebelpawz few months ago, he asked me to mail him back the key so he could open his other cyberlead and get a copy made well then he never replied to my emails or PMs or texts. Ive instead MAME'd my old busted KI2 instead of this, so its up for sale.

The cab works just peachy and there is a NAOMI system inside with a WWF Royal Rumble Cart. Monitor needs a little adjusting (pin cushion) but I dont have the key to open it and adjust it, and I dont want to drill out the locks under the control panel or next to the coin door. I already drilled the lock for the coin door to find a power cord.

LOOKING for around 900 this thing is pretty minty and I spend a good number of hours scrubbing it down to remove all the dirt and grime from it. I'll even toss in a dreamcast and 2 sega controllers AND 2 Sega VMUs (with screens)

thats the gist of it. I cant ship it, but I can deliever it to a shipping location or help you put it in your pick up truck.

EDIT: Im not wanting to take a huge loss like I always do, so I am looking for 900 but dont be afraid to offer me summin. Worst I can do is say no. Ive lowballed and been lowballed. no hard feelins

Is the code for noisy included?
Will it fit in my basement?

The free shipping is free, but if you want it delivered its whatever the carrier charges. Basement fittage is not guaranteed.
There are no HDMI ports and there is no code for noisy since its a japanese cab.

pretty sure if its the stock nanao that comes with the cyberlead that its a 15/25 not a 15/31, and its the one where you have to switch the plug on the board to go between modes.

I was going to say, I have heard of 15/25k and 15/25/31k but not 15/31k.

I presume the Naomi is outputting at 15k via the dipswitch?

Whats the DC running at, 15k?

it can, it includes the standard VGA adapter that you have to snip the wire on but I havent snipped it. I cant open the cab because sarebelpawz never sent the keyback and I dont wanna risk damaging the cab by drillin the lock under the CP

the other dsub connector in that cabinet is not for 25.

you'd have to pull a harness off the board, and put it in a different socket to go from 15 to 25.

the other dsub connector int he cabinet is for linked cab play (you'll see vga ports on the back of your cabinet near the power plug for this.

i have a cyberlead and can take pictures inside for you, to help you or anyone else in drilling/opening it.

i've also taken mine completely apart before because its about 4 inches wider then a standard usa door frame (good to know).

I was just going by what I was told, Ive owned the cab for a few months and Ive had it on a grand total of about 4 minutes, its been in my girlfriends garage since a week after I picked it up. I just don't have a use for it. Figured tossin in a DC,2VMUs, VGA cable,  and 2 controllers would sweeten the deal.

The only locksmith around here other then the one in walmart couldnt make a copy. It was a round key like a refrigerator but it had odd grooves in it. This was my second cab purchase from him so I never saw this coming. After I got the KI1 cab from him, that was painted black, he kept in touch. And after I bought this cab from him he stayed in touch till I needed the key back.

Wow..that is quite a profit you are shooting for!   :o

yea...100%  ::)

ok, so I drop $750 on the cab ($650 cab and $100 Naomi & game) I spend about $70 in gas driving to and from way north of Philadelphia and spend a couple hours scrubbing the cab clean and Im making a huge profit? oh and Im throwing in a near mint dreamcast (and cables) ,2 controllers, 2 VMUs, and one of the better VGA adapters for free?

Im such a con artist!

Im open to offers and Im just trying to break even for a change. If Im askin to much, offer me something else, worst I can say is no.

It is indeed sold  ;D
Free shipping cost me $140 in gas  :-\
It fits pretty darn well in my basement
No code for noisy, but the fan in the Naomi was dirty so I got plenty of noise anyways xD
