Gorf Cocktail
« on: November 11, 2009, 11:34:16 am »
My wife's friend's husband has just informed me he has a cocktail version of Gorf. Anyone ever seen one of these (here) in the UK?

It needs some slight attention apparently and he will no doubt be asking for my help, me being a lowly Space Cadet.

Has anyone here got one of these beasts? I will probably need all the help I can get, having only ever built a couple of MAME cabs from scratch and never restored/repaired anything.

Thanks B,
I've seen the KLOV listing. Am going to see the beast on Sunday - then I'll have a better idea of any problems. Will post some pics too.

Might as well grab the manual at http://www.crazykong.com

It's the same manual for either type of cab and the exploded parts list seems pretty accurate, the circuit schematic does leave out some minor details.

It is common for the custom CPU to die. If it is dead, you are out of luck unless you can find another.
