I have FOUR of the Parallax Basic Stamp 2 professional development boards for sale. These are brand new, still sealed and NEVER USED. They come sealed in their silver bags. Model number is 28138.

These do not come with power supplies, just the sealed board. I'm asking $100 each including shipping anywhere in the world. These run $159.99ea plus tax/shipping elsewhere, so $100 is a good deal. If you have been waiting for a deal to get started into designing projects which use the basic stamp 2, now's your chance.

NOTE:  I WILL INCLUDE ONE BRAND NEW BASIC STAMP 2 WITH THIS DEVELOPMENT BOARD

For more information about these, look here:

My paypal email is rcpayments@ca.rr.com

Thanks

Dave

I knew that electronics was a mostly-dead hobby, but I figured there would be SOME sort of interest in this Basic Stamp stuff in our community.  I snagged a bunch of this stuff a couple of years back so I could fiddle around with the BS2 and get some design time in.  I bought 8 of the development boards for myself and anyone else (who worked for me) that wanted to learn the platform.  Anyhow, only myself and three others had any interest in it which left me with four unused boards.  I can tell you from first hand experience that these boards are really NICE for designing projects.  The only downside is the serial interface which really isn't so much a downside as it is a nuisance.  Given that all of our newest machines don't have serial ports....well, you get the idea.  :-)  Luckily, Parallax makes a nifty little USB adaptor for these boards which makes life just that much easier.

Happy gaming everyone!!

Dave

Anything else at all other than the board? Does it come with the Basic Stamp chip with it? I know that I bought a BOE-Bot kit awhile back and after looking at accessories for it saw that the chip can be purchased outside of the board itself. Been looking into platforms for prototyping a pinball machine and this looks interesting. Need to look over it a little more but I am at least interested.
Where's my gold star :P

Good point.  I'll throw in a free Basic Stamp 2 with each development board.  I've got PLENTY of them to spare, so I can do that.

Ok, so the development board and one BS2 for $100 shipped.

I am interested, but there is no way I can afford it for the foreseeable future. If that changes, I'll be in touch.
