Control templates!
« on: November 05, 2009, 06:17:34 pm »
Don't know if this is in the right section, but I swear I saw once a place that had template files for standard controllers. That is, files that were done with the correct dimensions for the mounting plates and button holes?

If not that, what are the dimensions for standard buttons (hole, and diameter with cap)....the hole width for a joystick, spinner, trackball plate etc...

ugh...please help!

thanks guys!

Slagcoin helps with layouts, but if you're planning on tracing routing patterns etc. you will be better off doing it once your controls arrive. If routing for joysticks from below the panel, remember you don't have to be precise so drill the centre hole first then trace the mounting plate round to mark it up.
