Zenith CD-19MXRF06 Oh jee whiz....

Come on... I drove an hour last night to get a monitor for my Ms. Pac restoration I'm working on.  Wouldn't you know it, I ended up with the super rare, yet super lame, Zenith CD-19MXRF06.  The one and only monitor Zenith ever made.  And as Ken says in this thread http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=36541.0 "...it (like many other Zenith products made after 1970) was a true piece of crap monitor."  So, I have yet to hook it up, but it appears to have been residing in a Galaga cabinet for most of it's life as I can read you the high score.  HA!  Oh man...  Well I guess as long as it works, I don't mind having dropped $40 on it.  We'll see how it goes. 

Does anyone else have any info on this rare bird?

That's the same POS monitor that blew up my Tetris board when I hooked it up to a 14VDC and 28VDC output.    Which it states on the schematic when I looked it up - AFTER the fact.

Wow, I always thought those little B/W Zenith's were the toughest tv's ever. 

Sad to hear that their monitors were not up to the same standards.

Thanks Ken!  I was going to hook it up to another machine last night to test it but I didn't feel like monkeying around with the funny harness.  When I get my Ms. Pac board and harness Saturday I'll let you know if it works of not and just how bad it is.... What luck...

So I get nothing but a thin line across the screen.  Looks like my vert deflection is gonzo.  See video here: (NOTE: the monitor is on it's side on a table)  What are the chances this is fixable?  I mean will parts be available for this rare clunker?  I would love to o a cap kit, but I guess that means i manually have to survey the board and record what caps to get, no biggie.  I know I should be looking for a bad trace somewhere on the board, anyone have any suggestions?
