I finally had enough time to get the power supply and a video connection hooked up so that I have my JORK fpga Williams board hooked into my Wells Gardner d9500. . sweeeeet. Need to hook a speaker up in the short term and then figure out how to get it back to line-level so that I can use the same stereo amp as the Mame stuff. Need to build a Stargate/Defender control panel too and get my generic panel hooked into it for the rest of the games.
I'll have to put up wiring instructions for all of this at some point since it wasn't super obvious to me exactly which way to go with it. I tried using the PCBA connector on the d9500 instead of the VGA connection, but ended up not being able to get the red/green/blue channels to work (sync worked fine). Using a VGA connection with the explicit vertical/horizontal sync from the JROK board but running in the original medium resolution mode. Looks fantastic!! Nice to not have refresh rate/tearing/vsync problems for once.
