Cab inspiration from an unusual source

Im always farting around on tumblr looking at art and photography and yesterday i came across this picture of a very old television with some very IMHO pleasing old school arcade aesthetics..
that war of the worlds shape coupled with the bold, slick, black on white arrow paint job definitely appeals to me.
it needs a control panel!  ::)

For some odd reason, the first thing I thought when seeing that was "Spacewar!"
--- Yes I AM doing this on purpose, and yes I DO realize it is pissing you off.

---If my computers were cats, my place would look like an old widows house, with half of the cats having obvious health problems

Interesting; looks similar to a Philco Predicta TV but I haven't seen that one before...

You could use one of the CRT Apple Displays and paint it, has similar lines.

OND's project definitely has some of this vibe going.

But I think a rebuilt old TV like that could really be a sweet project too.

That brakansiek one's excellent. Would look good integrated with an all-acrylic shell for a see-through pseudo-Computer Space bar-top.
