I've got 3 Arkanoid PCBs for sale, 2 of them are in good working condition, 1 is broken and usable for spare parts.
If you're an Arkanoid fan, this is the perfect sale for you! You get a primary and backup board, plus a "salvage board" for any repairs needed down the line.
I'm selling them as a package deal.
$50 + shipping.

Arkanoid boards & Midway PS: $40 + shipping

PM me if interested.

SOLD!

Pshh.... If you throw those in then I'll pay $100 in for it. (Note: I'm kidding, don't have the money to buy Arkanoid boards for a game I never was good at, much less offer 2x the original price).
Where's my gold star :P

are these the original pcb's on the white pcb's or are they on green pcbs ? Romstar US versions? Any chance one of the boards has tournament arkanoid ? I just pretty much finished my arkanoid resto, and I actually already have a back up board for that cabinet but wanted to also toss in tournament ark as well.

Here's a shot of 2 out of the 3 I'm selling.

They're the original white pcb ones...regular Arkanoid, not the tournament ones.

Long time no bump. I still have these available.

I've got a working Midway Power Supply as well that I'd be willing to throw into the deal.

Otherwise I'm selling the PS for $15 by itself.

I may be interested in something here.

I just bought an Arkanoid that's in a very old, trashed, gorf mini cabinet.  Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet (I'm just starting my Popeye restore and won't get to this cab for a while), but the sound isn't working on it and I'd like to troubleshoot that before I make any decisions about where to go with it next.  I've checked all the easy stuff (speaker, volume pot, cabling) and I believe it to be a board issue at this point.

First question:  What's the difference between the green and white boards?  I've got a green board in mine.  Also, how come I can't find schematics for Arkanoid anywhere?

PS:  That same PS is in my gorf mini.

I'm not completely sure, but the green was the romstar US re-release, where the white ones were the original Taito release. As for schematics,  :dunno

I have these from my cocktail cabinet purchase, but since I renovated the cab into a mame machine, I definitely don't need these anymore.

Yeah, it's a pretty standard PS by the looks of it.

How much is the free shipping?

Will it fit in my basement?

Is the code for noisy included?

  • I am teh Mars!
Let say I was to put that back to working order... what would I need?
One arcade monitor, I assume?
Some spinners?

It doesn't seem like a bad deal for someone who liked Arkanoid, which is why I am intrigued, but I never restored (or even got my hand on) an old cab...

Arcade monitor, spinner(s), jamma wiring harness, start and play buttons...best thing to do is to refer to an Arkanoid manual.

Where can we find arcade monitors around Montreal?

And, does "any spinners" do the trick?

If you're looking for new, my best guess is that you'll have to ship it to you from somewhere. I don't know of any specific arcade part vendors around Montreal. But you could probably find used monitors around, perhaps take a gander at Craigslist or Kijiji.

I would assume so. But you'll need to get a wiring harness for it to hook up to. Not sure where to find these, but I'm sure if you ask around you can come up with something.
As for spinners, lots of people like the Oscar controls ones.
