So I have a company project on base that we are going to setup.

3 Logitech G25 Racing wheels

3 LCD projectors

3 computers networked. ..   you get the idea, i'll post lots of pics.

I hooked up one wheel on my work PC and had a problem in the model 2 emulator when trying to get the gas pedal to work correctly.

Basically the gas pedal when configured (using Vista 64bit and Logitech 64 profiler) the gas pedal is reconized correctly in the service menu of the game
and is registered in Model 2 EMU but once you start racing the pedals are reversed with gas and brake.

if I reverse them in the game controller config then selecting track and transmission is reversed.

In game if you let up halfway on the gas the brakes lock up making it difficult to say the least.

Does anyone have experience with the Logitech G25 and Sega Model 2 Emulator?

I will test this out on my 32 bit XP arcade cab tonight with and without loading the logitech drivers. If anyone has ideas or a fix on this it would help!

Never played that game, but in the Model 2 readme file, it does say:

SGT 24h
Enter test mode and set control type to A or you'll get reversed pedal control

Perhaps your game has a similar problem?

Hey jtslade,

In the Windows' game controllers panel, I have the "Pedals reported as...Combined (single axis - used for most games)" unchecked.

In the emulator, I have the Accelerate and Brake Invert option checked. In addition, I chose the G25 Accelerator to be the Accelerate and the G25 brake to be the Brake, from the drop-down option (when you double-click the control option).

I haven't experienced any problems thus far.

Hope this helps you.

Still working out the kinks with the emulator but the event on base for Halloween was a big success. Thank you for the help guys!

So I will be doing this on base again, except this time it is in an entire airplane hangar on base!

I just need to figure out some ideas on what to do ? 4 player Daytona, Giant Pac Man (30 foot screen), Pinball Tables, Xbox 360 Dance Central on projection screens.... What should I do?

you should send me a g25 wheel!

30 foot pacman sounds like a blast. I prefer Ms.Pac, but I don't wear silly ties
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

If you go with 30ft pacman, you should get those enormous joysticks that were posted a while back.  You know, the ones with ball tops the size of bowling balls!  That would be awesome!
