A dutch company produces ARFX stuff, anybody who has any experience with this?

Could be cool, used in the right settings like acockpit cab, but then the light from the screen would illuminate the darkness anyway in the main colours, so would it be worth it? I suppose it could be nice on a jukebox project but on a regular joystick-type arcade cabinet, any effects (such as active control panel lighting) would really only be appreciated and taken in by spectators, rather than the player.

Well, my cabs a bit odd, and this little gizmo could be just what the doctor ordered.

I had no idea these existed outside expansive flat panel TV's
