T-Molding or Iron on moulding in Australia?

Hey guys, I'm looking for 16mm T-Molding, (or preferably, the iron on equivalent) in Australia.

Does anyone know a store that supplies it? particularily in Adelaide?

You could try "joinery supplies" in the Yellow Pages ( do you have Yellow Pages in Australia? ). That's how I found iron on moulding in New Zealand.

I was looking all over the place in Sydney and Newcastle for T-MOLDING, couldn't find any anywhere, so I just ordered from t-molding.com in the US.

Great service from them, and what with the exchange rate at the moment the $$'s were not to bad.


5/8" is pretty darn close to 16mm - I am using 16mm MDF for my cab, so it all works out well.

I though about going with a thicker MDF (18mm) but there is no non-metric size T-MOLDING close to 18mm - 3/4" is just over 19mm.

I am just wondering Joe Blade how close a fit is it, can you tell the difference? If my conversion is right the T-Molding would be a fraction too small is that right?

I plan to use 16mm for my cab, I watched a carpenter doing work on my kitchen with that iron on stuff and asked him how that would go on my cab, he seemed to think T-Molding would be a more suitable option but didn't know where I could get any though.
