Well, the idea, and the image itself, is really funny. Even the concept, in a very black way is funny. Looks like a gag to me - but if it is real, someone should visit him.

Memorization is a very small part of the game. You can memorize a characters moveset in about 5 minutes in Street Fighter games.

Execution, timing, and match-ups take faaaar longer to master.

Seriously? That website is at least 4 or 5 years old. It was a big prank, along the lines of savetony. Quite a good one it has to be said

You can learn a few basics and they carry over to a LOT of fighting games.

I hate to point this out, but... technically, (and perhaps ironically) the cat is doing a Tiger Uppercut. I'd post a Sagat pic to compare... but I'm lazy.

There was no need to photoshop, the only pictures you see are of regular kitties sitting inside glasses. Much along the lines of basketcat and similar.

I dunno what it is about cats, but they are just so cute that just about any kind of pose will make me laugh and stuff.

fighting games: um, maybe. Perhaps I'm just not really enthused about them.....although, I'll tell ya, one reason I don't know how to 'play guitar' is cos learning scales and fingerings is extraordinarily dull. I do know where things sound, but mostly by leap (vs stepwise motion), cos that's mostly how I play.
