Help with Supergun cable connections...
« on: October 11, 2009, 01:14:23 pm »
Would this be a suitable connection for my Vega supergun -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/9-Pin-S-Video-Mini-DIN-to-RGB-HDTV-LCD-Multi-Converter_W0QQitemZ400073914401QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_CablesConnectors_RL?hash=item5d26437821&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ht_1509wt_941

Vega Connections -

It says on Rikko Amuze that the video connection for this supergun is 9 DIN S-Video...

Also, it says on this site that there is a headphone jack - I'm assuming the socket marked up 'HD' on the back of the supergun is this socket and that to get audio to the TV you could use a jack to phono and plug it?

Any help would be gratefully received...

be nice to get it up and running using component (which, if this cable is suitable could be possible)

Being in the UK you are better off with the scart connector as it can take RGB signals.   The s video to RGB does not provide component outputs for that a transcoder is required.
