New Layout for my CP.
« on: October 07, 2009, 02:27:23 am »
After a year of looking a blank Control Panel, I met one of my all time favorite artiest, and got permission from him to use some of his art for my control panel.

Michal Godard

Said i could use it as long as it was for personal use and not to be resold.  Here is the Proof sheet from Gatorwraps.

Made a custom stand for my CP,  Should be installed Wensday and Thursday.  If your wondering why so long just to install a overlay, All i can tell you is there is like a million wires in there, that I just don't want to mess up.. lol

Scott at mameroom.com did an amazing Job, even after one year this CP hasn't had one issue and everything looks just as bright and new as the day I bought it.  I would highly recommend them if anyone wants one built.

So tell me what ya think =)

Looks awesome.  If you don't mind could you share how much it was?  Gatorwraps I'm assuming does mainly car wraps?  I was thinking about seeing how much some full side art would be from a similar local shop.

Does the wrap need to be covered by lexan/acrylic?  I'm not sure about the durability.  Thanks!

Doesn't need to be covered, the stuff can handle las Vegas Desert Sun, so no fading ect.  But it is a sticker, so if someone is playing with a heavy watch it could scratch a little..  Tho the best part about it, is you take a blow dryer to it, and all the scratches fade completely away.

I am using the lexi cover on top of it, because it adds a layer of Gloss look to it.  I love it.
