Sweet little monitor for touchscreen second screen
« on: October 06, 2009, 09:58:29 pm »
Has anyone played with the Mimo

Mimo 720S Touchscreen

http://www.mimomonitors.com/products/mimo-720-S

It's USB powered (right, a single USB cable over to it), small 7" or so, and is a touchscreen. Works like a regular monitor

Here's a shot from Scott Hanselman's blog about it, extends the desktop just like a regular monitor

The non touchscreen version is 130$, the touchscreen is 220$ so it's not a steal, but that's pretty slick for an all in one solution

That would be a cool addition to any cabinet.  Trying to think of a reason to incorporate one into my build....

I actually was gonna ask what is the smallest monitor that can be easily hooked up to a computer.
As to incomporating into cabinet. I was thinking 2 of them, decased side by side for great marquee display. I had that idea after seeing Randy from GGG puting I belive 17" widescreen into his cabinet, but it looked odd sticking out so high above marquee line
