Easiest way to convert my bat top U360 to ball top?
« on: October 06, 2009, 10:54:49 am »
I know I need new shafts and the balltops, but it that all I need?  I see Andy sells the shafts but it says they are longer shafts, I dont see on his site a listing for the normal ones.  I understand these are sanwa ones, any place I can just get the shafts and balltops?

The bats use an adapter, I think. The Sanwa LB-35 balltop should fit the shaft you have.
EDIT: Or maybe not....I just looked at ultimarc...

If you're bottom mounting these, the longer shaft is good to have anyway. To my knowledge, that's the only place to buy the shaft. The ones for sale at lizardlick are for the JLF, which won't work.

Ya I checked out lizardlick, I'd have to buy the whole joystick there just to get the shafts.  From what I understand the JLW-TM-8 shaft is what I need, and ya I'm top mounting, so I dont need any extra long ones.

Hey, I just thought of something....

My friend is using the long shafts and his regular ones (brand new!) are just sitting in a box. I bet he'd sell them to you cheap. He should have an extra balltop and I have an extra (if you don't mind having two red balltops).

Want me to talk to him?

i wouldn't recommend the long shafts on the u360...unless you are using a restrictor , they make the throw way too long

You need the shaft, top, and dust washer; the shaft diameter is different.

I have one set of parts for a standard length balltop if you need. PM me.

I've already taken care of the shafts and balltops. If the hole in the dust washers he has is too big, then he can buy some from Franco B.

Thanks for the props Ginsu

Just out of interest, does anyone know the shaft OD of the longer shafts? I wonder why it was changed.

Ah cool, didn't realize you made custome dust washers.  I have some sanwa ones that I think will be fine, but if not I'll be PM'ing you.
