For multi-CPS II you would need multiple CPS II boards as well as the other games you were wanting to play.  It'll honestly be much easier to just open the machine and swap the games you want to play since the CPS II games are just cartridges that go into the CPS II main board.

Or do what I did and buy the CPSII multigame board... essentially 18 "B" boards running on an "A" board.  I am also picking up the Capcom CPS1 14-in-1 board as well as a JAMMA switcher so I'll have all 32 games running in the same cab.   I even came up with my own artwork for it...

Since your suggesting a multiboard I'm assuming your xx-in-1 is working well?  I've been thinking about picking one up for my cab, but had not heard anything on their reliability or performance.

Works great...save for the fact the menu that comes up comes up a little garbled when accessing it via a couple of the games... nothing major.

Not that I want anyone to get in trouble cause I know we don't like to talk about 1-xx boards, but anyone else had + or - comments about boards like this for CPS-II

The difference being we're not supposed to talk about xxx-in-1 boards because they use MAME illegally...but this particular multigame board is NOT emulation.  It runs off actual CPSII A board hardware... so it's exempt I'd think.

Saint?
