Hot Rod Joystick and PS/2 support
« on: September 29, 2009, 05:34:14 pm »
So Currently I use this mobo for my mame machine:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128379&cm_re=GA-MA78GM-S2H-_-13-128-379-_-Product

it has 2 PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard, and I can use the Hot Rod just fine.

But if I ever wanted to upgrade to a mobo like this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128394

It only has 1 PS/2 port, and it contains both colors so it looks like its for either a keyboard or mouse, would it work with the Hot Rod since it needs a Keboard PS/2 input, anyone know?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

I've never seen one like that. I would assume it would work, since it supports PS/2 keyboard. I went through all the reviews and there were no complaints about it.
