MAME Compile Issue
« on: September 27, 2009, 10:25:06 pm »
This is my first time compiling MAME (using the hi_score diff).  It appears that everything has turned out wonderfully except for one thing.  When I hit tab to pull up the menu, it comes up and I can read everything but as soon as I select Player 1 (or 2 or 3 etc) I can't read anything.  It just looks like a bunch of white boxes.  Any help would be appreciated...

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Is the MAME.INI set to DirectDraw? If so, try Direct3D. Also, what is your resolution set at? (Both in MAME and your desktop)
