Plans for this slim cabinet?
« on: September 24, 2009, 01:57:35 pm »
Hello BYOAC'ers... its been a long time... too long really.  It's been 4 years since I sold my last cabinet and I am getting the itch, I need to build another one!  My only issue is that my room is just too small for another Lucid style cab, I need to go smaller.  While looking around for "slim" cabinets I ran across this listing...

http://columbus.craigslist.org/vgm/1350514043.html

Can someone tell me if there are plans for cabinets like that anywhere that I can build from scratch?  It is the perfect size for my family room, and will suit the purpose of getting my MAME fix just fine.

Thanks guys!  Looking forward to getting back in the hobby and hanging out again!

Anthony

Well, I found what I was looking for, and surprise surprise, the original is a BYOAC member.  Here is the thread to his work:

Paul's website appears to be down, but through Google cache I was able to download his plans anyways.  Now time to see if I can make it happen :)

I love this site.

If I was to make a slim, I'd copy this one, I think it's so nice looking.

I like the Terminus cab, but was actually looking for something I could use an LCD on... I have a 25" spare from my parents I can use....

Saint - I've submitted them for upload... they need to be reviewed.  They will be under the cabinet plans section named: TAZ_Slim_LCD_Cab_Plans

His website states they are free for use, he just requests pictures of the projects for his archives.  I noted that in the comments of the file upload and referenced his site.
