Help wanted! Test forum beta site!
« on: September 23, 2009, 09:46:34 pm »
To fix the file attachment problem (I hope), and the avatar problem, I needed to upgrade the code for this forum to the latest version. Major ordeal actually for a variety of reasons. Anyway, I seem to have managed on the test site. I need folks to log on and use the test site, see if anything is broken or breakable. The address is http://forumtest.arcadecontrols.com. -- Anything you do there will be lost when I upgrade the live site so don't invest too much time in real conversation (though you could just copy/paste posts you make on the main forum). Once it's been kicking around for a couple of days without problems I'll try to upgrade the live site.

Thanks!

Near as I can tell it's fixed the file attachment problem. If people would test .zip attachments that would be great!

I just checked a couple pre-existing attachments and they downloaded just fine.   :applaud:
(Here on the live site)

But....... the SEARCH function doesn't seem to be working. It just refreshes the screen.

Yes, I have to fix an index issue with the search function. Probably be next week. I've got a commitment the next several days.
