Opti-PAC Issues...
« on: July 14, 2003, 11:06:07 pm »
trying to get two mice working off of the Opti-PAC USB...  Mouse one is working fine, but nothing out of mouse two...  I don't understand, what file do I use for the mame configuration.  Using Mamepp there was a mamepp.cfg file.  What file do I use to configure mameanalog?  also should both mice be working in windows?  Right not only the first trackball is working when both are hooked up.  if I hook up the PS/2 mouse, the ps/2 mouse and trackball 1 work.  Please help me!!! i'm going crazy....

Thanks....

Sounds like you're not using the version of mame. You need to use mame analog+. It's maintained by U_Rebelscum. On top of that, you'll need to be running Win98.

Ok I didn't read the whole thing the first time. Sorry about that. You won't see 2 mice in Windows, but you doo need Windows 98 regardless. You'll have access to the 2 mice once inside MAME.

I'm not sure how to configure it without changing the individual game settings, but there aren't many games that used more than 1 mouse, anyways. There may an easier method, but even this method shouldn't be so difficult...
