I have a G-force Ti4400 128 agp and is there a round-about way to watch TV on my computer without the TV in.

Buy a cheap TV tuner card. They go for about $30 on eBay.

I don't want to get one. I'd rather do it the fun way with a hack job.

You could get a USB video camera and point it at your television set and watch that on the monitor.

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

The easiest, cheapest way is to get a tv tuner card, like an ati tv wonder.

Not unless your card has video in. If it does you could use video out from your VCR, but you can't connect coax cable directly to your computer because your computer has no tuner. That's why everyone is suggesting a tuner card...a TV has a tuner, a VCR has a tuner, but your computer doesn't.

Hope this helps.

...eh...you could always Duct Tape a small TV to the top of your monitor.  ;D

I bought a 2nd 19 inch monitor at the computer shop for $159 and a PCI 64Mb card for $60. My main card is a newer ATI that already had the video in featue. I installed the PCI card in the machine and connected the second monitor to it. Now I can display TV on the left monitor and display all my programs on the right. OR, if I have allot open I can display programs on both and make TV a smaller window or not at all.
