Fusion and Mala not working
« on: September 17, 2009, 09:49:20 am »
Seems that I'm having nothing but bad luck trying to get this to work.

Ive read FAQ, how-to articles,  did searching but didn't find anything that would help. Maybe someone can chime in help me out.

I have made the lists and all the games show up.

My directory listing is a follows:

Fusion is located in              c:\sms
SMS roms are located in      c:\sms\roms

Depending on how I try, I'm either getting an error or I'm getting a blank screen in fusion.
I have also verified that it works via command line as show in a screenshot.
I have also moved directories around thinking it may be the length of my folder names and how thy contained spaces, but I have shortened them down and I get the same result.

BTW, all my roms are unzipped and in .sms format.

I'm attaching pictures of my config and errors.

Any help is appreciated

paste this in your command line and put a tick in hidden instead of minimized

"%path%\%rom%.%ext%" -sms -auto -fulls

Thanks, but that was a preset, tried that first. All I get is a black screen.

The reason it was ticked that way ..  slip of the mouse when I was taking a screenshot.

I found the issue..

If I use the RomDir2XML.exe tool to create my list, it will not work.

If I use MaLa to create the list, it works.

I was just about to reply. Fusion works very well for me in Mala . I run all the systems. Also the disc based ones. the only one i run with another emu i Mastersystem. I dont know why but it wont run in fusion. But It runs perfectly in Mess (Vesion 1.31 to 1.34)
