Where to buy arcade controls in the UK
« on: July 14, 2003, 02:16:19 pm »
Anyone know where I can get my hands on all kinds of arcade controls in the UK for a reasonable price? I am about to embark on an epic mission of building my very own MAME cabinet for the first time, so your help would be very much appreciated as I can't seem to find any regular, decent suppliers here - thankyou.

Also www.suzo.co.uk and www.happcontrols.com

Both companies have UK branches.

Yeah Im in the same situation, ultimarc is so expensive though. Ill probably have to order via them though. I was gonna call happcontrols the UK branch, but they have so many buttons etc i think it would get complicated...

Ultimarc is convenient and they provide good after sales support but some of their stuff is undeniably expensive.

The joysticks aren't too bad particularly when you consider they have been modified slightly but

90 Euros make our price look like a steal! But seriously, yes I agree the buttons are overdue for a price cut. We now jointly order these with Suzo (we sell more than they do!) so get them for a better price now, and I need to pass this on.
I'll try to get a new price for these set up tomorrow.

Are you part of ultimarc.com ? This is great news if you are reducing them (the buttons) as they are the main concern I have about paying out (the joysticks are fine).

edit.. yeah I found out you work there..
