Wico Optical Buttons
« on: September 11, 2009, 08:37:08 pm »
Anybody ever heard of these?

I think it would be pretty cool to pair these with a Wico 360 joystick for a custom controller.

More pictures of these, experiences, or even for sale would very appreciated by me.

IIRC, they weren't that popular.  Besides the Wico 360 Controller, they (or maybe it was the original company that came up with the 360) had add ons to standard joysticks.  For example, you take the leafs out of a Wico leaf stick and put this little adapter thing in.  I've got one of those.  They also made them for the Super Joystick as well, IIRC.

From what i've heard, they worked okay, but were terrible out on location because they responded very poorly to soda spills and dust buildup...
