New to arcade machines, lots of noob questions!
« on: September 01, 2009, 10:56:03 am »
I'm getting an OLD, working, SNK P.O.W. machine within the week and I have lots of questions. I've never played with a JAMMA machine before. :)

1st off I was told the monitor looks like it has static on the display. If I have to replace the monitor, about how much do they cost and where do I get one?

The game is a JAMMA system so am I correct in my understanding that I can use other JAMMA based boards in this cabinet?

Since the game is 2 players with 3 buttons each I'll need to add buttons to the CP if I want to use JAMMA boards that require more buttons. How many buttons does Jamma support? Basicaly what would I have to do to make it like street fighter, 6 buttons per player and how would that impact switching back to games that dont use that many buttons?

Thanks so much for any information, I'm really excited to be getting this machine and playing around with it!

I found jammaboards.com and that answered most of the questions I had. :)
