Wiring a PC PSU for arcade cabinet
« on: August 27, 2009, 06:51:34 pm »
I'm going to try wiring a PC power supply into my new jamma cabinet.  Can someone help me out?  I can't seem to find the -5v?

The 5v is typically the RED wire on the molex.
Empire had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets

Red is the Positive 5 volts. Your average ATX PC Power supply doesn't have negative 5V, if I remember correctly.

-5 volts is usually the white wire. Not all ATX power supplies have it though
