Wanted: Area 51 PCB repair (bad DRAM error)
« on: August 23, 2009, 07:31:47 pm »
Hi all,

I recently purchased a partially working Area 51 machine.  I ran some tests and it looks like the DRAM in bank 2 is bad.

Anyone here repair PCBs?  Any references if you don't but know where I can send it to get repaired.

I'm not looking to spend a ton of dough, I may even buy a replacement board instead, but I figured I'd find out how much it would be to repair in the meantime and if it is even worth repairing.

Thanks in advance!
