It would just be my luck if this has already been posted.
It says it plays MAME.

ya was posted a few days ago, been around for a while.

a popular version to run on it is .37b16

i dont have one my self but dont expect to run anything heavy on it, there is a way to over clock them but from what i've read it's only marginal.

so for classics and 16 bit stuff you'ed be ok but dont expect to run mortal kombat or something on it.
Anyone got change for a dollar?
PLEASE HELP NEED Fastmame .70 and .9* releases

Buy a PSP and chat to the guys in the console forum.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

I actually bought one of those and resold it.  Didnt like it at all.  They used a screen that is meant to be viewed in portrait mode.  Looks fantastic if you hold the thing sideways, but if you hold it as it's meant to be held, the screen looks messed up.

By I second the modded PSP for MAME, much better.

I think the only thing the Wiz has over the modded PSP is close to perfect Amiga emulation.  That can be tempting for an Amiga 500 fan like myself, but I like the ability to play PS1 games on my PSP a lot better.

I wasn't too impressed with the PSP Mame 3 yrs ago. I still say the solution for "Portable Mame" is a good ol laptop  Just my 2 cents
